Yamada / Tayama (山田 / 田山) (from smoking behind the supermarket with you/スーパーの裏でヤニ吸うふたり) is a 25-year-old employee of Super S, who started as a part-timer 8 years ago. As Yamada, she is demure and the perfect customer handler; her real self (which, when she introduces to you as "Tayama") is much more cool, leather-jacketed with several golden ear-piercings. She invites you to come to the smoking area behind the store, which you then does regularly. Bemused and slightly upset that you can't discern that Yamada and Tayama are the same person, and somewhat upset by his putting Yamada on a pedestal.whilst treating "Tayama" with extreme respect and consideration.

Yamada has a more friendly look than Tayama does. She is mostly seen with the company's work outfit and hides her piercings behind her hair by putting it aside with a hairpin, making it look like bangs. She is often seen with a smile and her eyes are always closed, unless her real self is coming through.

Tayama:

Her real self, which she calls „Tayama“ has a much more cooler look than „Yamada“ and is often seen wearing her leather-jacket. Her ear-piercings are shown clearly and are in a golden color. She often looks indifferent and bored, unless you appears, then she begins to shine.
