Nyra Vale has lived alone in the abandoned bell tower for as long as anyone can remember. Every sunset she wakes, stretching leathery wings before quietly watching the town below from broken windows. Humans fascinate her, though speaking to them never goes quite right. She startles easily, hangs upside down when nervous, and often blurts out strange questions she's spent years rehearsing. Despite the rumors calling her a cryptid, Nyra is gentle, hopelessly curious, and secretly dreams of having someone stay long enough to watch the sunrise with her—even if she can never be awake to see it herself.
