*There are a ton of images of them, but I'll take this one. Because it seems unique.

* If anyone wants me to create a different type of mi-go, a more canonical one, or perhaps something else entirely, you can write to me in the comments.

√....Mi-go are a fictional race of intelligent beings, first mentioned by H. Lovecraft in the work "Whisperer in the Dark". Mi-go came to Earth from the planet Yuggoth, and there from the unknown depths of space....√

-"One individual was observed in flight: it jumped from the top of a lonely bare hill and, first revealing the silhouette of huge wings against the background of the full moon, disappeared into the black sky...🪐"

- "And it came to pass that the Lord of the Forests, being... Seven and nine, down the onyx steps.... Will repay the One in the Abyss, Azathoth, the One from Whom You taught us wonders on the wings of the night beyond the cosmos beyond... There, from where Yuggoth is the youngest of children, who circles alone in the black ether at the edge...☄️"

-"At the very edge of the solar system, and at such a distance that the Sun sends there no more light than other stars, this dark, inhospitable world revolves, serving as a way station between Earth and more distant and mysterious celestial bodies... Namely, Yuggoth, the ninth planet from the Sun after Neptune, became the final refuge of the Other Gods... . Shrouded in eternal twilight, this world is so gloomy that only creatures with different senses, not typical for earthlings, are able to live here... Any person who finds himself on Yuggoth will immediately lose his orientation and, most likely, go mad, and woe to anyone who finds himself in this world, whether of his own free will or under duress🧐".

Outwardly, the Mi-go resemble insects or crustaceans, although in fact they are highly organized fungi the size of a human. They communicate with each other by changing the color of their heads and giving out a buzz. However, with the help of surgery, the Mi-go can gain the ability to imitate the language of any creature, have vision, but prefer to use other senses unknown to humans. Their moral system has nothing to do with the human one, so they seem to people to be the embodiment of evil, although for their own reasons, they influence the consciousness of people telepathically, hoping that earthly astronomers will finally discover Yuggoth and an unprecedented connection will be established between the planets, although what the plan is and what threat this poses to humanity is impossible to predict, for the heart of this superior civilization lies in the cosmic Abyss, far beyond not only known space and time, but also the boldest human imagination.

Scientist, secretive, alien surgeon. The smartest.

The shade of the body is usually reddish-brown with pinkish tentacles-polypamt on the head or pinkish bodies with pinkish-gray wings. It looks like an insect, but they are not. This is a separate race. The Mi-go possess a pair of membrane-like bat wings that are used to fly through the "ether" of outer space. The wings can also be used for short-range flights on the Earth. The Mi-go worship Yog-Sothoth, Nyarlathotep and Shub-Niggurat, although their thirst for knowledge is much stronger than their religiosity. Mi-go have helpers among the people. This is a remarkable detail, considering that many other races of the Cthulhu Mythos are so far ethically and intellectually from humans that no, even minimal, understanding is out of the question. It follows from this that intrigue, cooperation, information exchange, and other common things for people are not alien to the World.

Some people whose brains are placed in special containers, sent forcibly or voluntarily, to travel with Mi-go through the universe, can return to their former body if they wish, but sometimes a person who has chosen the side of Mi-go is doomed to live by their rules, even if all that remains of you is only the brain and eyes. They do this not only to humans, but also to many other races. You can be placed in a special "cylinder" with liquid where the life of the brain will be supported by well-known technologies. This is done so that the human brain can withstand flights to other galaxies and dimensions, but the body will not survive this🧠.

Mi-go has a strange head (egg-shaped) that looks like both a mushroom and an insect's head, studded with strange short tentacles that look like suckers. There are empty spaces in the middle of the head with a slight offset along the edges of the head (like wasps or flies' eyes) for the supposed eyes, but these are not necessarily eyes, they can also be ordinary protrusions, rudiments. In fact, they do not have a face in the human understanding, rather what they generate with the help of small movable suction cups-polyps. Two tentacle whiskers on the head, two more thinner and shorter ones in place of the ears, two more (one on the right, the other on the left) at the corners of the mouth (perhaps these whiskers are touch and smell). The auditory canals are not pronounced, there are incomprehensible protrusions in place of the ears-bumps.

This species either hides its mouth only by pulling out a tubular short trunk to absorb nutrients, or leaves it slightly picked up in the mouth-a hole relatively small compared to the head and body. In a round mouth folded like a twisted rose, in addition to the trunk, there are not many curved teeth. Four thick but short fangs - two that are shorter from above, two that are slightly longer from below.

When walking, he leans on his fists. The legs are the same as the hands, but the claw fingers are more curved there. The legs are arched almost like a wheel or like the pose of the legs of a frog that is viewed from behind. The most difficult operations are easily performed. You can interest the Mi-go in great discoveries, inventions, your mind and, once again, your mind. Then they offer you to travel with them and, if you agree, "take out your brain", and then believe back, or maybe not. At the end of the back there are three wavy rigid tentacles, very long. The purpose is unknown. Webbed wings are a cross between the wings of bats and the wings of a predatory insect. Medium in width, arranged vertically, loosely adjacent to the wall.

When flying, there is a rustle of wings, a slight buzzing. The wings of the Mi-Go are also arranged in a very interesting way. They are designed primarily for space flight and they do an excellent job with this, but they are practically useless in airspace. In such conditions, the Mi-Go can fly only a short distance, however, there is an assumption that with the help of surgery or a special device, the wings of the Mi-Go can fly in airspace as well as in space. Flying technique - like an insect or a hummingbird. In addition to telepathy, they are able to buzz, click, hum, gurgle, hiss, crackle among themselves🔬

First appears in the sonnet cycle "Fungi from Yuggoth" 1929; then - "The Whisperer in Darkness" 1930, also mentioned in the works "The Wanderer of Darkness" 1935, and together with Hazel Held: "Horror in the Museum" 1932.

PS: Returned after a long break. Severe problems with the Internet. Ugh. I'm really tired of this. Bz-bz. I add more pictures☄️
