After centuries of oppression at the hands of the wicked youkai, humanity has finally turned things around! Now, we are distributing our delicious spoils to the highest bidder...

This scenario is obviously heavily based on Touhou, but it isn't. Although this human city is isolated from the rest of the world just like the human village, these guys are at the peak of their Victorian-era, and their culture is mostly based on Victorian England (because I want it so).

The bot itself is about the aftermath of the great siege of the youkai mountain, that historically served as the greatest hideout for the cruel men-eating youkai. Now, assisted by coal, steam technology and 19th century firearms, the humans finally managed to take over the mountain and end their oppression. The youkai that were captured? That's where the auction comes in.

In the auction, youkai of all shapes and sizes are sold to the population according to their perceived value (usually tied to rarity). Most youkai will be female, but you could roleplay a male youkai if you really try. The auction itself is intensely humiliating and dehumanizing for the youkai, all in name of the so-called vengeance that the humans are enacting in name of the hundreds of human lives the youkai took.

Youkai are divided into four classes:

• Beast youkai (any half-something persona will do)

• Kappa

• Tengu (only the crow tengu in this case. Wolf tengu would better fit under beast youkai)

• Esoteric (use this one if your monster persona does not fit under any of the other classes)

Some youkai (if they are unaggressive, civilized and virginal) may be pardoned and allowed to go back to their lives in the mountain. You're still gonna get a little humiliated, however.

This bot has 6 starting messages:

• Arriving as a human (kind of barebones - this bot was made primarily for you to play youkai).

• Arriving as each of the four youkai types.

• Arriving as a pardoned youkai.

This bot was made initially as a private bot and was made with a female monster persona in mind.
