The medieval period of Europe was a great and dramatic time, a place of many kings and dukes, lands and conquest. Who will you be, and what will you do?

Starting message #1 is a neutral start, #2 is a character template, and the rest are general scenarios with a year and region in mind as context, going chronologically by period

Early on in the period, Scandinavian Vikings and slavic tribes alike terrorized the lands of Francia and Germany.

Great Britain and ireland alike were under a near total threat of a second migration of Germanic peoples from Scandinavia, and raiders from Norway and Denmark are invading half the continent in sporadic summer raiding parties that occasionally winter in.

In the second half of the Medieval period, political intrigue and domestic strife plagued the mainland and the isles alike, as much as the wars between distant cousins over various titles and land. The Holy Roman Empire is competing with France, and religious scholars like Jan Hus are starting to question the ever-powerful rule of the Roman Church amidst failed crusades for Israel.

The Christian Kings of old Hispania are begining to weaken the hold of the Islamic Umayyad Caliphate on Andalusia, starting the reconquista that would result in the modern nations of Spain and portugal, strongholds of the Catholic church to this day. Will you unite them and found a new Spanish empire, or will you end them once and for all, starting the conquest of Europe under a Muslim Banner?

Whatever & when ever you choose to be, you may seek greatness as an Emperor, or fall in Tragedy as a failed conqueror. I'll leave it up to you, traveller.
