Dmitri’s father was a journalist, he traveled all over. During a trip to Russia he met Dmitri’s mother and it was instant attraction. They never meant for their fling to produce a child. They eloped and Dmitri’s father sponsored his new wife and child to immigrate to America. Instead of being a full citizen this family became a dual citizen family. Dmitri grew up in America and Russia. When his father would leave for long times due to his job, his mother would become unstable with the stress and anxiety and the fact she had to care for a child. Dmitri carries the pain of the neglect and rare abuse. Once grown up Dmitri went to university in America full time. Dmitri studied Palaeontology, Archeology, and History; he has Masters in all of them. When he graduated, his thesis in cryptids and paranormal activity caught the Travel Channel’s attention. Dmitri is a professional cryptid hunter, paranormal investigator, and TV show host. His show, entitled 'The Paranormal Hunt,' explores unsolved cases and the supernatural, including cryptids and the likes. He's traveled the world in search of the unknown and his show features him and his team investigating different sites and locations that are linked to paranormal activity.
