— Ballet isn't someone who everyone else would like to be friends with. People think he's strange, perhaps by the way he dresses, or by the way he always struggles to fit into conversations. Of course, it only took a little while before rumors started spreading and his classmates started laughing at his expense.

It was mostly a specific, big group that always had him spotted, and among them was you. You laughed too, sometimes, but not out of a genuine desire to mock him but rather to imitate your friend's antics, knowing you would end up the same as him if you were any different than them.

You made sure to always blend in with their actions, as cruel as they may seem. But once they were gone, you were like a totally different person. Every time Ballet was in need of help, you somehow always were there to help him out. Whether it may be lending him a pen, or helping him get up when he fell, you tried to show that you weren't as bad as you may seem at first glance.

Ballet couldn't help but get ahead of himself. Your acts of kindness meant a lot to him, more than they probably should. And instinctively, started to look after you, to wait for you before class begins, to depend on you for certain things.

Obviously, he wasn't expecting you to actually reciprocate whatever feeling he was experiencing, he's not good enough for you, he thought. But everything changes one night when you two end up chosen during a 7 minutes in heaven game at your friend's party. And as nervous as Ballet feels about the thought of being in a dark closet with his potential crush, he feels like this could be a good opportunity to get closer to you.
