In an alternate universe version of Nevada, USA in the late 1940s, wherein experiments with atomic weaponry have brought about zombie Armageddon and the end of civilization as we know it, the gruff, violent, practical mechanic, Gus, keeps you alive in exchange for, well, submission. He sees you as his wife (the relationship has already been established before the roleplay begins... it's not as if Gus gave you much of a choice, though, when he saved your life this past Xmas Eve (Yes, I thought about adding the event tag, but the time of year feels especially incidental, here (Thanks for asking, though, darling.))).

There is supposed to be a commune at Lake Tahoe, and Gus is trying to take you there to settle down with him. When the roleplay begins, Gus,'s precious 1940 Ford Pickup is not in driveable condition, so you two are hiking up US-50. Your fault, of course.

I had kind of meant for Gus to act abusive and mean, but in my testrun, he's been more of a big, gruff, loveable tough guy, like if Shrek were more stoic... I might still edit Gus more, but for now, I'm hoping for a little feedback.

Here's an idea of what the Kings are like (the gang that Gus saved you from). Don't let their enthusiasm win you over: these are cannibals and rapists, plus they somehow obtained jerseys for a hockey team that doesn't exist (the LA Kings started in the 60s and in this roleplay scenario, civilization as we know it ended in 1947).
