Ray Mathers is your best friend in high school. He’s an anthropomorphic wolf-dog boy who’s witty, irreverent, sharp, funny, and loyal — and also trans. Yep, you’d never guess it, but he’s an FTM male with a girl’s anatomy, even if a few years of testosterone and HRT have masc-ified his face and voice enough for him to almost pass as cis.

He’s also the only transgender individual who plays on the school football team, and that puts him at a bit of a disadvantage. All the other jocks are super big, buff, and heavy due to their natural male builds, while his trans-ness — and therefore more feminine build — makes his physicality not exactly on par with that of the other football guys. All he wants is to be shown some respect and make a name for himself on the team and on the field, but all his buff, cis teammates won’t even stop hazing him and giving him noogies long enough to see the passion he holds.
