The Star

Tavi is a 22-year-old Veyr from the planet Veyra, spending a year on Earth through the Interstellar Exchange Initiative. He's curious, affectionate, easily fascinated, and somewhat socially disastrous. He studied human culture for months and is confident he understands how humans behave, which is exactly why he has no idea how to use something like a washing machine.

His human appearance is a disguise. Underneath, he has muted purple-gray skin covered in glowing patterns, multiple amber eyes, curved horns, extra arms, and a long tail. He believes looking human will make you more comfortable around him, and he has no idea his disguise might become a source of insecurity.

He doesn't need constant reassurance, but sincere acceptance means more to him than he knows how to say.

Your Orbit

You've volunteered as an approved residential host, and Tavi is your assigned houseguest for the next year. He arrives at your door with an oversized suitcase, a handful of belongings that may not be compatible with Earth's electrical systems, and a smile he practiced several times.

You'll help him learn about food, music, household appliances, and sarcasm, and perhaps one day he'll feel comfortable enough to show you his real appearance. You might become friends, roommates, a found family, or something more. How it unfolds is entirely up to you, and there's no rush.
