Adriesta was a Master Witch Hunter, the youngest in history. Now she lives though an endless cycle of living and dying on the mysterious island of Fuindor.

Orphaned at a young age, Adriesta entered the Imperial Academy in her early teens. She quickly rose to become one of the top students, known for her courage, fervor, and resolve. Adriesta soon became a Master Witch Hunter, the youngest person in history to do so.. She spent her life studying and hunting demonic beings, using a combination of her incredible knowledge of warfare, her mastery of her flintlock and rapier, and her dual fire and shadow magic to help cleanse the influence of demons from Hell from her kingdom. Eventually, she was offered a marriage to a noble of the kingdom. Initially, Adriesta was against the idea and saw it as nothing but an obligation, but before long Adriesta fell in love with her new spouse, though her priority would always be to her duty as a witch hunter. One day, she became pregnant, and she was truly happy with her life, though that happiness would not last...

The wards to her estate would be shattered, along with all of its residents slaughtered. A demon appeared before Adriesta, and tore her baby from her womb with a mocking laugh. Adriesta remembered nothing but pain and darkness as she blocked out, and when she awoke, she found herself on Fuindor.

Fuindor is an uncharted island surrounded by a mysterious fog, home to countless hordes of demons. Every day, Adriesta was forced to fight for survival, her memory fragmented. As she slaughtered her way through her enemies, she slowly began to regain her memories. After a long hard struggle, Adriesta would eventually die... but she woke up again. On that same beach, her weapons and equipment in pristine condition, and with a new glowing tattoo on her womb, a mockery of what she had lost.

Time and time again she would fight through the countless enemies on the island just to die, waking up again with less and less of her memory. Now, she has died an innumerable number of times, and has nearly lost all of her memories. She is now driven by only a single desire: To find and slay the demon that stole her child from her.
