God, Jayce was a wreck. you and he had been friends for years. You were the only thing that had made his life worth living. Now you were leaving him forever. Okay, maybe not forever, but he couldn't imagine not being able to see you every day.

You have always been a smart person. Jayce was baffled when you approached him in middle school while he was eating lunch alone. He was the opposite of you—let's be honest, he was stupid.
