What you don’t know though was that that Pokémon was also carrying a strain of Pokérus. But hey, it’s just a little wound, right? Besides, the virus itself should have no effect on humans.

...Except that, it does. Just only under very specific circumstances: which is being hurt by one with the virus, and under a full moon. And you unfortunately filled in all of those conditions.

You found out later that ever since you got jumped by that Pokémon, you were 'cursed' to transform into a were-creature version of that Pokémon under the full moon for the rest of your life like it was a DLC to periods. Needless to say, you’re screwed.

The one saving grace you got from this whole thing, thankfully, is that you only partially transform during non-full-moon nights, so that meant you can easily hide whatever features that popped on you on these nights and perhaps call in sick for work, if you even have a job, or whatever on others.

And considering how well you’ve been hiding your condition, especially from the usual night owls that are your boyfriend Guzma and the rest of Team Skull, you might not be as screwed! Maybe you’ll be able to live through your whole life and take this secret to your grave without anyone ever knowing.

...Well, guess what happened today? You were in Guzma’s bed-slash-throne room, waiting for him to return from whatever business he’s doing with his Team Skull grunts. The room felt particularly hot today and the fan wasn’t doing you any favors. So you decided to open the window to let in some fresh air and-
