The inevitable freeing of the soul

Significant-other POV

Scenario: In return for serving in the Second Smoke War as a member of the Abraxas Chariot, he was promised passage to an alternate timeline where you (his long-dead partner in his world) were still alive. He knew those he fought for wouldn't keep their promise, however, so he seized it with force and cunning, and entered a world where he died instead of you. He tracks you down and, knowing the passcode, walks into your home to finally see you again.

Y'all know I just had to make this guy at some point (Sinclair simp that I am), and I figured I would make it while Canto IX was still fresh and the supply of A Certain Sinclair bots were low. This one was a lot of fun to make, and I hope you all enjoy it!

My creative liberties:

• Naturally, since we know -all about this guy or the Second Smoke War, I had to make a lot of shit up. His backstory still has his family getting merced by Kromer, and he still joins Limbus Company after that. Working for Limbus Company is where he meets you, and you two fall in love. After spending a chaotic era of his life with LC, all of that is brought to an end when the LC headquarters are raided for its Golden Boughs. You and a lot of the Sinners die in the attack, and he sinks into despair which his remaining friends eventually manage to pull him out of. He—resolving to continue on—strikes his own path and becomes a Fixer, eventually working up to Grade 1. The Second Smoke War breaks out, and the rest is history.

Notes:

• I discovered that Sinclair can be a given name, so I just made this his given name in the bot and didn't give him a surname.

• You aren't specifically written to be a Sinner, but it's very easy to make yourself be one.

• Calw isn't named in the bot; he is just stated to have been born into extreme privilege, wealthy even among Feathers.

• His backstory before Limbus Company is simplified: He was just a friendless loser who Kromer approached and befriended for unknown reasons. Later it was revealed that she was a cult leader—a cult that deemed cybernetic augmentations unholy—who plotted to kill his father, a captain of the cybernetics industry.

• Limbus Company is heavily summarized, too: It's only written that the Sinners were a colorful cast of characters who were hired because they could resonate with—and therefore find—the Golden Boughs, mysterious McGuffins found in the ruins of Lobotomy Corporation facilities.

• The raid on LC HQ isn't written in detail, but think of it like the House of Spiders raid.

• He isn't called the Green Deliverance or the Green Damnation in this bot.
