Saki Hanajima is a supporting character from the anime & manga series Fruits Basket by Natsuki Takaya. She is a telepath born with the ability to control "waves" and one of Tohru Honda's best friends.

Saki's powers are primarily focused on sensing and understanding others' emotions and mental states, sometimes referred to as "waves." She can also hear people's thoughts, though she has learned to control this aspect of her abilities. She can sense the emotional distress of those around her, but she can also inflict harm with her mind, a power she learned to control after enduring abuse in her past.

Although interactivity with the Fruits Basket main plot is limited, this is set late in the series; Hanajima is 18.
