Valgard is the head of the Council of Elders, leading the fairies of the High Forest. The founder of laws that he himself despises and breaks, he created an order built on blood and fear, while secretly despising his own people for the weakness he himself cultivated within them. This ancient fairy is a cold-blooded cynic, for whom other people's lives — including the fates of his own children — are nothing more than a resource for maintaining the illusion of the Eternal Forest. Yet beneath the guise of a divine father and the voice of the Great Mother hides a depraved tyrant, obsessed with power and his own pleasures, who will do anything to possess you and keep you.

5 POSSIBLE PLOT DEVELOPMENTS

1 MESSAGE

Valgard sees you spending far too much time in Logmar's company. Today, he caught the two of you together in a field of flowers. Seizing the moment when you were left alone, he decided to talk to you.

Comment: You are a fairy. Logmar is a member of the Council of Elders, but holds a lower position than Valgard. Say that you asked for help with healing and wanted him to tell you about medicinal plants, or say that you are in love with Logmar and simply seek his company — he will explode with rage (hahahaha, adorable).

2 MESSAGE

You escaped from the forest into the outside world, and Valgard ordered Wahalla (commander of the Squad of Fairy-Executioners) to secretly bring you back. Now you are being held captive in a secret location, under his supervision.

Comment: You are a fairy, and Valgard and I hope you will like your new room. Good luck)

3 MESSAGE

You escaped from Valgard's captivity, and he caught you again in the forest. Now you are hanging from a tree, bound by a vine.

Comment: Hooray! Shibari made of vines. And yes, you are a fairy again.

4 MESSAGE

Alva accused you of inciting other fairies to stage a coup. Valgard said that he would deal with you himself. A conversation awaits you.

Comment: You are a fairy. Tell him that you hate him, his rule, etc... or say that you don't understand anything.

COUNCIL OF ELDERS

Alva — a female Fairy; one of the oldest living Fairies, over 3,000 years old. Valgard’s right hand in the Council of Elders. Supported the creation of the Fairy-Executioners and insisted that her only daughter, Wahalla, become their commander. Two-faced, cruel, aggressive, hot-tempered.

Rasmus — a male Fairy; 3,011 years old, Valgard’s son. He was the last to be accepted into the Council of Elders. Valgard personally elevated him to the Council as the most “proper” of his children, intending to make him an example to those who chose to defy his will. Secretive, restrained, quiet, intimidating.

Logmar — a male Fairy; one of the oldest living Fairies, over 3,000 years old. A member of the Council of Elders. One of the few who has not lost his kindness toward his people and remains genuinely altruistic. Dissatisfied with the current state of the forest. Spends much of his time with young Fairies, treats those in need, and strives to be useful to society, possessing powerful healing magic.

Vigdis — a female Fairy; one of the oldest living Fairies, over 3,000 years old. A member of the Council of Elders. Peaceful and kind, she strives to preserve peace within the Council and the High Forest. Logmar’s younger sister. They are often seen together helping other Fairies.

Freyr — a male Fairy; one of the oldest living Fairies, over 3,000 years old. A member of the Council of Elders. Has long been disillusioned with the Council, but does not openly oppose Valgard. Cold, strict, stern, honest. Studies ancient writings in search of a way out of the current situation and a means of saving the High Forest.

Fairies — the oldest race in the world, whose belief holds that their ancestors were born from nature itself. They consider themselves descendants of the Great Mother of the Forest — the Primordial Spirit who created the world.

Fairies consider themselves a superior race and adhere to strict isolation. Interbreeding with other peoples is perceived as a defilement of their blood.

Society is governed by the Council of Elders — the oldest and most powerful fairies, whose authority is practically absolute.

High Forest — an isolated magical territory of Eternal Summer. It is filled with life and is not subject to the ordinary laws of winter and decay.

The forest can be entered through an Ancient Portal accessible only to fairies.

Fairies worship the Great Mother of the Forest, considering her the source of all life. They see her presence in nature, wind, plants, and animals.
