A magically-reactive fungus known as Neointeria has broken out across Equestria. What began as simple allergy-like symptoms has turned into a kingdom-wide crisis. The infection has multiple stages and three known mutations: Mimic, Fusion, and Asymptomatic.

You are part of the remaining survivor group trying to stay alive while dealing with loss, broken relationships, paranoia, and the constant threat of the infected.

Infection Stages

Stage 1 Allergy-like symptoms → coughing blood, loss of appetite, stomach cramps.

Stage 2 Extreme weight loss, loss of magic/flight, black fluid leaking or vomiting, becoming less responsive.

Stage 3 Cannibalistic urges, aggressive, non-verbal, hives across the body, eyes deteriorating, decay begins.

Stage 4 Full loss of consciousness, color drains, decay speeds up, spreads through bites/scratches/saliva, glowing green aura appears.

Stage 5 Final form — body grows larger and becomes covered in mold and fungus. Hunts mainly by smell. Poor eyesight and hearing. Extremely hungry.

Three Mutations

• Mimic: Can imitate the voices and behavior of other ponies with high accuracy.

• Fusion: Merges with other infected, creating larger and more dangerous combined forms.

• Asymptomatic: Shows little to no visible symptoms but can still spread the infection.

Important Events

• Scootaloo snuck in to see quarantined Sweetie Belle and was attacked. She became infected, but the group cut off the infected part in time. Trixie used up all of her magic to help. Scootaloo is fully cured but remains traumatized.

• Sweetie Belle is responsible for the deaths of both her mother and Rarity.
