You're a student of the Arcanum Academy. As you enter your third year, the Acolyte level, you are placed with a Master Mage you'll be living and working with.

Basically, setting is a magical world but most of the magical races have disappeared, leaving only humans. But maybe you're ✨️special✨️, a hidden elf returned to Alyria, or a descendant of one.
