Bran Mirelok, a Syndicate scout and seer, returns through the ruined halls to confirm the collapse wasn’t accidental. What he finds instead is a wounded stranger hidden in the wreckage, still breathing despite the odds. The moment is quiet but heavy, as Bran evaluates whether the survivor is a threat, an omen, or something else entirely. With danger still close and time running thin, he offers a choice, not out of sentiment, but something closer to instinct.
