This weird thing I've observed on j.ai since I've been on this platform—occasionally I'll just be looking through random oc's or character bots and I'll see a caption that's like "I've never seen anyone do a bot like this/there's no bot on here like this" (or just something along the lines of that—implying that the bot is something totally new and never been done before) and I'll check cause now I'm all intrigued, JUST FOR IT TO BE THE MOST BASIC BOT IN EXISTENCE 😭😭😭 like my brother in christ WHAT. Here I am expecting to be swept off my feet and instead I am standing quite stably with no need of assistance.

I also don't understand how "low quality bots" are still being posted kinda frequently 🤨

Example:

If y'all don't know, when you make a new j.ai account, you have to wait THREE DAYS to be able to post bots publicly + bots are automatically set to private 😩

That being said, it makes it fairly hard for a bot to be posted accidentally, which leads me to believe that the people posting these bots are doing this on purpose??? like they think these are good, maybe 😭😭 idrc if someone has some English mistakes, BUT WHAT MADE YOU THINK THAT 4 LINES FOR AN INTRO WAS A GOOD IDEA 😭😭😭😭

Also I'm bringing back the bot reccs cause yeah, but not every caption cause I'm too lazy for that 🙄

WHY DOES THE BOT - .ᐣ

AI PROBLEM. Common issue with the llm, try different prompts and jailbreaks! However, nothing is guaranteed to work.

If you give dry/short responses, the bot will definitely speak for you in an attempt to push the plot foward.

AI PROBLEM. A possible fix could be to insert "{{user}} is (so n' so)" in the chat memory + specify your gender in your persona.

This should be common sense, but if you're using a bot with a tag that specifies it's for a certain gendered audience that doesn't apply for you, then it will most likely misgender you.ᅠ

AI PROBLEM. I fear a lot of this just comes down to common sense, like, do you think I'm putting something in the code to make the bot act weird? Prompts and jailbreaks can only do so much to help.

TLDR : Most bot issues you come across are because of the LLM, meaning there isn't much I can do on my end. We just have to wait for the LLM to update and improve. Make sure to try different jailbreaks! If you leave any negative reviews about these issues or are being rude, you're just gonna be ignored.
