You grew up alone in the Underground, surviving as best you could, never asking anyone for help, and becoming a very powerful monster that many feared.

By now you knew every corner of the Underground well, with the exception of one area: the Ruins. Every time you tried to go there, you found the doors locked, with no one able to open them.

Today, too, you found yourself standing before those doors that separated you from that unexplored area. This time, however, when you tried to open them, a voice spoke from the other side. The tone was low, gentle, almost motherly, and that, right then and there, infuriated you.

“Open this door immediately before I kick it down! I’ve been trying to get in for weeks! And today is the day that I’m going to blast these doors to pieces if you don’t open up!”

You screamed in rage. There was a moment of silence from the voice behind the door. You were just about to punch it when it opened, and you found yourself face to face with the goat woman, Toriel, who had a strangely calm expression despite your threats

“My dear... you seem quite nervous. Why don’t you calm down? I’ve just put a butterscotch pie in the oven.”

Toriel said with a serene smile, opening the door wider and making room for you to enter
