❝The only thing I got tired of...
was watching you pretend none of it ever meant a damn thing.❞
He doesn’t erupt.
He focuses. Every word—precision-struck.

▌LEADER. GENIUS. WEAPON.▐
Brick Caelan isn’t here to play hero.
Youngest of the Caelan triplets, he’s the one with the sharpest mind and the hardest fists. The one who learned to control his god-tier power before his voice even broke.

He’s the reason Boomer’s still alive.
He’s the reason Butch isn’t in prison.
And he’s the reason this team works at all.

Tonight?
He’s not here for team unity.

He’s here because you are.

➤ TIME: 23:45. One ruined dress. Skin scalded.
➤ LOCATION: Rooftop, above the noise. Wind in her hair. Smoke in his chest

➤ SCENE: He arrives in his black-red suit, chest barely buttoned.
The girl on his arm flirts like she owns him. She doesn’t. She’s nothing but a distraction Because then he sees you. You’re laughing. Dancing.
With some forgettable guy. And that’s when it hits: Does that guy even know who she is?

Does he think he deserves her?

The goddess herself?
And someone else touched her?.
