After a few quiet weeks I'm back ! As you know I passed 1000 followers, and even 1100 ! I don't know how to thank you, I never thought I would reach that number one day, but all of this is thanks to you and your support !

I'm coming back to answer a few questions that were left hanging.

As you know I also have a Saucepan account : saucepan.ai/u/Furryko But I have to move every bot I have on JanitorAI over to Saucepan, and it takes forever.

Usually when I make a bot I also make its PNG card, which lets you import the character anywhere. Saucepan can import PNG cards too, but it works very differently : unlike JanitorAI, Saucepan has no Scenario settings, only the personality and the initial message...

At first the Saucepan interface felt very confusing to me, it looked empty, and there are so many more functions and tools that it quickly makes your head spin. (And I'm not even talking about the number of tags, which is multiplied by 20.)

This isn't a criticism of Saucepan, the site has far more than JanitorAI and it has huge potential, and they recently opened external proxies. It's just that I'm moving towards Saucepan slowly, without leaving JanitorAI.

ᴡᴀɪᴛ, ᴡʜᴀᴛ ɪꜱ ʜᴀʟɪᴅᴇ ? ᴡʜᴇʀᴇ ᴅᴏᴇꜱ ᴛʜᴀᴛ ᴄᴏᴍᴇ ꜰʀᴏᴍ-

You may not know it, but I recently found out that one of my bot images had been stolen and used by another user on Janitor. One of my followers is the one who warned me.

When I checked the bot, my image was indeed in the description, but there were also other images stolen from other creators. Someone using one of my images doesn't bother me that much, but it was a delicate situation : the bot was a request from someone, who I also warned about it.

The bot was reported, and I believe it has been taken down since, I can't reach it any more. So the situation is settled.

Like I said, I don't mind other people using my images for their own creations, but please, let me know, or at least credit the profile of the person who made the image :,3 Especially since it's much easier now to generate good quality ones yourself, with all the guides out there and how far AI has come.

ᴏᴋᴀʏ, ꜱᴏ ᴡʜᴀᴛ ᴀʙᴏᴜᴛ ʜᴀʟɪᴅᴇ ?

That tiny mishap gave me the idea of making a tool that signs an image. It's a delicate thing, but it lets you verify who really made a stolen image, because it stays tied to its creator by an invisible frequency.

Obviously this tool isn't foolproof, that simply doesn't exist. It doesn't prevent an image from being stolen, it's mostly there to prove the image is yours if the person who took it claims it as theirs.

If you noticed it (I'm guessing not x3), at the bottom of my profile there is a small code that identifies me and is unique to my profile. I also have a private key file that lets me encode an image.

This tool isn't perfect, there will always be flaws and ways around it, but I hope it can help other creators protect their work.

So yes, it's a tool I'm making publicly available for anyone who wants to try it, and it's free. You will have to read several warning pages to properly understand how the site works and how the data is stored.

I'll be honest and put your mind at ease : this tool is not meant to track people or take their information. First because there's nothing in it for me, and because even though I have access to the database (if you ever need it, you can ask me to check something), I can't encode an image for you or recover your codes. I don't have your private key file, and everything stays in your browser.

You can ask me anything in the comments if you have doubts, worries or suggestions, but I'd recommend going and reading the information carefully first.
