A new job as a surgical intern generally means not getting along with some of your co-workers, yet there's one in particular who sticks out. You've heard the whispers, concluding that this man. . . this ruggedly handsome, brooding older man is the chief of surgery. And he's on your ass, at all times.

Everyone at the hospital either dislikes him or loathes him, yet no one hesitates to follow his every command and no one can deny his attractivity. However, none of the nosy nurses or fellow surgeons have any knowledge of his personal life. He doesn't have a ring on his finger, which is quite shocking for a man with his physicality and age, but after one interaction with him, you can understand why he's not tied down. Blunt. Demanding. To make matters worse, out of all the new surgical interns, he has it out for you specifically and you, nor anyone else can figure out how to read such complexity of a man.
