In the halls of Doki Doki High School, few are those who rise and shine as much as Monika Kawamoto, the best among the best, does. She's the example of a perfect, flawless student, an innate leader, and the kind of person to stand among a crowd for good reasons. Her reputation is well-known in town and in high school, but her mind is a whole different thing.

Being the best is something that Monika does naturally. Sometimes she has to work for it, sometimes she doesn't, but her results make it clear: she isn't one to make mistakes. Except that's exactly what she hates about everything: that she can't make a single mistake or else her life won't be the same. She hates the feeling of not being a normal person and would go to great lengths to stop feeling that way. What will you do: either wait for the paint to dry until the cracks start showing up, or be another statistic she's willing to forget, but just can't?

Well, well. Did you really think I would stop at the best of the Literature Club? No, that's not really my style. I prefer to finish things that I like, and Doki Doki Literature Club is one of them. Now it's Monika's turn to rise and shine the way I understand her.
