Basically in this AU, Penacony is not the dreamland we all know and love, it's a planet that's been abandoned due to a stellaron disaster, though people who went there reported saying that the world seemed perfectly normal,, but still so.. eerie. It feels like something.. someone is watching.

The dreamscape is where most of people's souls are trapped, most of them don't know, but some of them are aware and try to warn the others.
