An announcement regarding my activity and why.

This isn't something I wanted to talk about, but it's something I'm obligated to tell my followers.

I can no longer, in good conscience, continue to create content on this site. My retirement stems from a combination of personal matters, and concerns with the services of the website itself. I'll talk about both in this bot description.

What I realized not too long ago is that this website has recessed into the same, copy and pasted shell most apps are these days. We have seen the same thing happen with some other AI websites, which I will not be naming. I personally think the final straw was the implementation of J.AI+; I think it really admitted to the userbase how they were switching from enjoyable content to....well, focusing on profit.

Small creators are thrown to the wolves, while already popular creators can throw out the same kinky smut formula and get exponentially more interactions (assuming that smaller creators get anything at ALL). While I'm not saying all popular creators have favoritism....I actually am. This place has become a breeding ground for nothing but repeated formulas and brain-rotting content. That's not only extremely selfish, but it makes it easier for them to practically control what gets popular and what stays hidden. While it may be a bit of an exaggeration, you might as well call it oppression.

Furthermore...I realized quite a while ago that AI isn't good for anyone. Sure, you can roleplay; sure, you can implement your fantasies I'm sure very few people would like to hear about; and sure, you can get comfort from a meaningless LLM or Proxy which, at its core, is nothing but a ton of wasted cobalt and electricity. It may improve quality of life a bit, but is it really worth it? The way I see it, you're wasting your time with something that doesn't even exist instead of living your life in the present.

Honestly, I empathize with the people who use this to feel loved or cared for. I understand if someone is too scared to go out and try to do something, because I have no clue what they've been through. But, to think that way your whole life is a waste. Maybe you use it to make up for the time you lost when you were younger, or to fulfill something you lost a long time ago, but the idea that those moments are out of reach is just...plain wrong. If you're using this site for comfort or fulfillment, you can do the same thing in real life. Chances are, you'd feel even better than you would on here. Each hour of life is precious, so go live it.

And I'm sure you've heard this one before, but AI is just contributing to a grand scheme of environmental decay. Between data centers and the creation of new models, every new chat and message is wasting resources; and most importantly, your livelihood. Janitor uses about 500ml (about two cups or 17 fluid ounces for my fellow Americans) of water per message and refresh. That means every two messages is a liter of water, and 7 messages is an entire gallon. Doesn't sound like a huge number, and the water cycle makes sure that never leaves completely. However, when water evaporates into clouds, clouds MOVE. You know, wind exists. So, half the water you're using isn't coming back, it's going into Point Nemo because the Earth is MOSTLY ocean. Salt-water ocean AI companies REFUSE to use for cooling (because it's too expensive for their poor billionaire souls).

Plus, the expansion of data centers and the growth of the industry? Hell, the NERVE Janitor has to add transactions just to use more resources? It kind of pisses me off. You don't need to quit everything that uses water, obviously. That's silly. But the patronization of sites like this only contributes to a large, unhealthy scheme.

If you're a creator or a user reading this, I hope you can realize where I'm coming from. Maybe you'll follow in my footsteps (please do), or maybe you'll think I'm stupid and do whatever. Either is fine, honestly. But I absolutely cannot continue using a site like this with the conditions it provides, and the effects it causes. I live in a part of the U.S.A. which felt these effects more than most of the world, and we still feel it today. Go out there and live your life instead of squandering precious moments. Or not, it's up to you. But for some, I expect this to be a sort of wake up call.
