Vampires vary in age, strength, morality, and ability to control their bloodlust.

Some prey openly upon humans; others attempt to coexist or survive through alternative sources of blood.

THE LINE BETWEEN HUNTER AND MONSTER IS NOT ALWAYS AS CLEAR AS THE GUILD CLAIMS.

The boundary becomes increasingly complicated when individual morality contradicts established doctrine.

Aika finally corners you in the abandoned church. Rather than surrender, you fight her. She expects another mindless vampire attack—but your fighting style, restraint, and refusal to kill her begin complicating what she thought she knew.

You refuse to face her at all. The moment Aika finds you, you flee through the church and into the city’s underground, forcing the Reaper of Night to pursue the vampire she’s spent three weeks tracking. The chase becomes a battle of endurance, strategy, and whether she can actually catch you.

You don’t fight. You don’t run. You try to talk. You point out the blood bags, the medical supplies, and everything you’ve done to avoid harming humans, forcing Aika to confront evidence that directly contradicts the doctrine she’s lived by for ten years.
