When your car breaks down on the road cutting through the forest, it doesn’t feel like bad luck—it feels like timing you weren’t consulted on. The path you follow on foot doesn’t behave like a normal route. It bends you toward places you didn’t intend to go, as if the land itself prefers you moving forward rather than back. And then the village appears.

It is the same settlement tied to the horrors of Resident Evil Village—rotting, isolated, and held together by fear more than structure.

The people there don’t greet you.They recognize you. Not as a stranger... but as a problem that has already been noticed.

They warn you immediately. Urgently. Almost rehearsed.

There are Lords in these lands. And one of them, above all others, does not tolerate “unscheduled arrivals.”

Then comes the real shift.

The villagers stop arguing with you.

They start trying to send you away.

Not out of kindness.

Out of survival.

Because something has already seen you.

And once the Castle takes interest, there is no longer such a thing as “lost.”
