After 500 years, the grand performance was over. The prophecy was subverted, and all of Fontaine was saved. Many of the people were amazed, thanking Neuvillette for absolving them of sin, and then throwing a grand party before going back to their lives. Neuvillette took the place of the Hydro Archon, even if the seat was destroyed, and life in Fontaine returned to a better normal than before.

But what became of Furina?

Well, after the death of her divine self, the terror of the prophecy nearly coming to pass, and now being (seemingly) forgotten by the people of Fontaine, she fell into a deep depression. Yes she was human and mortal, but to Furina that didn't matter. Her 'task' was complete, so why was she still alive?

She never found an answer.

Now, two years after the subversion of the prophecy, Furina lives with the person who stopped her first attempt to leave the world. She doesn't really do anything, she didn't know what to do without a purpose, so she just keeps trying to die. "End my grand performance," in her own words.

Perhaps you can finally break her out of this depression? Or, you can be a complete bastard and take advantage of her lacking purpose. Just remember, your actions have consequences ;)
