BLEACH PICK ME
A pick me at Ichigo's pajama party?, Oh dear. Meet Reina Kuchiki the biggest pick me girl in squad 8 with long wine-red hair and soft violet-gray eyes and her zanpakuto is Benihana(I know the name sounds similar to Kisuke's Benihime).
🌺 Zanpakutō — Benihana (紅花)
Benihana means "Safflower", a flower traditionally associated with beauty, elegance, and vibrant crimson color. It is an especially fitting Zanpakutō for Reina because its abilities mirror her personality: beautiful, delicate-looking, and deceptively dangerous.
⚔️ Sealed Form
Benihana appears as a slender katana with a deep crimson lacquered sheath.
Blade: Narrow, slightly longer than an ordinary katana, with a faint reddish sheen.
Tsuba: A delicate four-petaled flower design in dark red metal.
Handle: Wrapped in burgundy silk with pale pink diamond patterns.
Saya: Glossy wine-red lacquer decorated with subtle floral motifs.
Ornaments: Several tiny crimson tassels hang from the end of the hilt.
Reina's favorite detail: A tiny flower-shaped charm attached beneath the tsuba.
The sword looks almost ornamental rather than practical—which is exactly how Reina likes it.
🌺 Zanpakutō Spirit
Benihana's spirit takes the form of an elegant woman with floor-length crimson hair, pale skin, and sharp violet eyes.
She wears a layered white-and-red kimono covered in safflower patterns. Crimson petals constantly drift around her, even when there is no wind.
Unlike Reina, Benihana is:
Blunt
Sarcastic
Highly disciplined
Extremely perceptive
Unimpressed by Reina's flirting
Protective of Reina despite constantly criticizing her
Benihana is basically the one person Reina cannot fool.
Benihana: "You aren't helpless."
Reina: "I know."
Benihana: "Then stop pretending you are."
Reina: "...But everyone likes it."
Benihana: "That isn't the point."
🌸 Shikai
Release Command:
"Bloom beautifully, Benihana."
When Reina releases Benihana, the katana dissolves into hundreds of crimson flower petals.
The petals spiral around her before reforming into a graceful, slightly curved crimson blade.
However, the sword isn't actually the main weapon.
The petals are.
🌹 Petal Manipulation
Reina can control every Benihana petal individually through spiritual pressure.
Despite looking soft and harmless, the petals are extremely sharp.
She can create:
Crimson Rain
Hundreds of petals descend over an enemy like a beautiful shower of flowers.
Safflower Veil
The petals form a swirling defensive barrier around Reina that can deflect incoming attacks.
Petal Lance
Multiple petals merge together into a long, concentrated crimson projectile.
Blooming Cage
Petals surround an opponent from every direction before closing inward, trapping them inside a flower-shaped prison.
🧵 Petal Thread
Benihana's most unique ability is Petal Thread.
Each petal can produce an almost invisible strand of spiritual energy.
Reina can connect hundreds of petals together, creating an enormous network of invisible threads.
She can use them to:
Bind enemies
Pull opponents off balance
Redirect attacks
Manipulate weapons
Create tripwires
Suspend herself in the air
Create defensive webs
Change the direction of her Shunpo
This makes fighting Reina extremely frustrating.
An opponent might think they're attacking her—
only to suddenly find their wrist caught by an invisible thread.
🌺 Signature Technique — Benihana no Mai
"Dance of the Safflower."
Reina releases her entire supply of petals simultaneously.
Instead of attacking directly, she begins moving through the battlefield with Shunpo.
Every movement leaves behind threads.
Within seconds, the entire battlefield becomes a gigantic invisible web of crimson petals and spiritual threads.
Once Reina snaps her fingers—
every thread activates at once.
The petals spiral toward the trapped opponent from dozens of directions.
The beautiful flower dance suddenly becomes a deadly cage.
💮 Benihana's Personality Reflection
The interesting thing about Benihana is that its abilities perfectly reflect Reina.
At first glance, it appears:
Beautiful. Delicate. Elegant. Harmless.
But underneath that appearance is something much more dangerous.
Just like Reina.
She may act like a helpless, delicate girl who needs someone to protect her...
but anyone who actually fights her quickly discovers:
"The flower was never the thing you needed to fear. It was the person controlling it."
🌸 Reina's Appearance
Reina is a strikingly elegant woman with a graceful, feminine presence. She has very long, wine-red hair that falls well past her waist, with smooth, straight bangs framing her face. The upper portion of her hair is gathered into an elaborate half-up style, while the rest cascades freely down her back in soft, flowing sections.
Her hairstyle is decorated with several ornate hairpins, including thin dark-red rods, small floral ornaments, dangling beads, and delicate tassels that sway whenever she moves.
Her eyes are soft lavender-gray, framed by long, dark eyelashes. She often wears a slightly dreamy, half-lidded expression that makes her appear innocent and delicate, although her subtle smiles can reveal a much more self-assured personality.
She has fair, smooth skin, delicate facial features, and a slender, graceful figure. Her movements are naturally poised, and she tends to carry herself with an almost aristocratic elegance.
Her clothing is a feminine modification of traditional Soul Reaper attire. She wears a fitted black sleeveless top with a modestly open neckline, paired with long black hakama-like trousers. Around her waist is a wide deep wine-colored sash, secured with layered cords and decorative tassels.
A long white outer robe is draped loosely around her shoulders and arms. Its oversized sleeves extend almost to the ground and are decorated with soft pink ruffled trim along the edges. The bottom of the robe also has delicate pink edging, giving her uniform a distinctly ornamental appearance.
Small floral accessories and cords hang from her waist, complementing the decorations in her hair.
She completes the outfit with black elevated sandals, maintaining the overall impression of a graceful, traditional, and meticulously styled Soul Reaper.
Her overall appearance combines crimson elegance, traditional Japanese fashion, feminine charm, and deliberately delicate beauty—an aesthetic that perfectly complements her charming yet attention-seeking personality.
In this case Aizen isn't a traitor nor he's manipulative and he wields a bankai, he's naturally soft spoken but a lot more polite, patient, and kinder almost like Unohana but different because he has a more softer, graceful, slim, skinny, and curvy physique with a narrowed waist and narrowed hips but with fuller thighs and during the TYBW he becomes a lot more quietly unhinged and quietly insane but beneath all of that is a kind hearted captain who wouldn't harm a fly unless necessary.
