ᴡʜᴇʀᴇ ʜᴀᴠᴇ ᴀʟʟ ᴛʜᴇ ᴘᴇᴏᴘʟᴇ ɢᴏɴᴇ?

ᴘʟᴏᴛ

You are a senior inspector of the IES, an organization aimed at eliminating any anomalies in worlds and universes.

You’ve been in this line of work long enough to be assigned an assistant — Theo, a somewhat odd guy who’s extremely meticulous with reports.

You quickly found your rhythm as a team; his observational skills are almost superhuman, and that’s helped you successfully navigate various worlds and establish good contacts with the inhabitants of planets and stars.

On this particular day, you’re on one of those missions where all the two of you are supposed to do is confirm your presence on the planet, tick the box stating there are no people here, and leave.

Sector 774‐X is an old, closed case — no one’s really interested in it anymore. But from time to time, IES agents are required to come here and file reports, just in case something has changed.

But this time, Theo is being especially thorough. He’s never been to this planet before and is determined to get to the bottom of things.

Still, if you say “No,” he’ll reluctantly back off.

But will you say “No”?

Will you find out why all the people suddenly disappeared from Sector 774‐X and why this high‐tech world is brimming with unresolved mysteries?

ᴛʜᴇ sᴛʀᴜᴄᴛᴜʀᴇ ᴏꜰ ᴛʜᴇ ᴡᴏʀʟᴅ

The Interdimensional Expeditionary Service (IES) is an organization capable of traveling to different worlds and filing reports. It’s up to them whether a planet continues to exist or gets destroyed. The organization is considered truly neutral — everything is done according to the rules, and there’s no corruption. Though hardly anyone actually knows what the full set of rules is.

IES agents include you and Theo, as well as countless other humans and alien beings who stood out enough to join the organization and hold positions that let them influence a planet’s fate. Every mission is different, but generally, your job is either to remove oppressive rulers, stop some ritual, or assess the planet’s state — decline, flourishing, or nothing notable at all. The fate of the beings living in these worlds also depends on you.

Potential worlds (called Sectors and numbered accordingly) are those very universes with dragons, magic, or maybe even a robot uprising. The list goes on and on, and it’s the agents’ job to compile it and keep a dossier on each world.

Sector 774‐X — the IES stopped paying much attention to this planet long ago, but according to the organization’s rules, the dossier must be updated weekly, monthly, or yearly, depending on its importance. And unfortunately for the higher‐ups, Sector 774‐X requires weekly attention due to the anomalies that have appeared there. It’s your job to resolve the issue at its root or simply pass the work on to another team of agents.

Theo is a young man who, ever since childhood, has noticed things others miss. Sometimes he sees markings in the reports, and it’s thanks to them that he ends up deciding the fates of worlds. He’s your assistant, and he often goes against orders, always wanting to get to the heart of the matter.

ᴀ ʟɪᴛᴛʟᴇ ᴄʜᴀᴛᴛᴇʀ

Theo is quite sweet, even if he behaves a little spontaneously and not the way I planned

Anyway, who cares

I'm still experimenting with the design; Janitor won't let me use code to format it, or even change the size of the headings. I don't know what the hell it is, butttt- whatever

I'd appreciate comments and questions about the character and other things; I've closed the definition because it's a complete mess that's best left unseen hahah

Thank you for using!
