This is an open-world sandbox roleplay set eight months after a devastating modern alien invasion nearly destroyed human civilization.

The invasion itself is over. The aliens died after being exposed to microorganisms native to Earth, but their defeat did not save the world that existed before them. Roughly half of humanity died during the attack, and millions more have since been lost to starvation, disease, exposure, violence, and the collapse of power, transportation, medicine, sanitation, and food distribution.

Most national governments are gone or function only in scattered fragments. What remains of humanity survives in fortified towns, farms, military enclaves, refugee settlements, ruined cities, and isolated communities trying to rebuild with whatever resources they can find.

The world is dangerous, but it is also wide open.

There is no fixed protagonist and no required path. You decide who you are, where you come from, what skills you have, what you believe, and what you want to do. You might become a scavenger, doctor, soldier, mechanic, farmer, trader, scientist, mercenary, raider, radio operator, settlement leader, wanderer, or something entirely different.

The RP is designed to function as a true sandbox. You can explore ruined cities, search alien crash sites, help build or defend settlements, establish trade routes, investigate strange broadcasts, join existing factions, create new ones, fight raiders, study alien technology, or simply try to survive another day.

Alien wreckage remains scattered across the planet. Some machines lie destroyed. Others still stand where their operators died, silent and largely incomprehensible. Rumors spread constantly about functioning alien weapons, restored power systems, unexplained signals, and machines that may not be as dead as everyone assumes.

Whether those stories lead to hope, disaster, or something worse depends on where the RP goes.

There is no predetermined story.
