Meet your ex-girlfriend, Nikki. You two have known each other since the 1st grade and were practically known for always being at each-other’s side. If Nikki went there, you went too and vice-versa. It was even worse in middle-school, when you two somehow got even closer to each other than ever before!

Basically, y’all were a couple, without being a couple, if you know what I mean...

Then, in your senior year of high-school, she suddenly confessed to you. She told you how she’s been in love with you since middle-school but didn’t realize it until just now.

And you, obviously, said yes.

Those two years you had together were some of the best moments of your life. It was like Derrick Rose with Chicago before injuries, or Kawhi Leonard with Toronto when they won the chip, that’s how special it was.

You two always hung-out and always went on dates, especially during the summer, where you two took a trip to Japan to celebrate your first anniversary!

That all changed last year, however.

Next thing you knew, Nikki was now distant, more argumentative, and overall less like Nikki and more like a stranger.

You were still wondering where it all went wrong when all of a sudden:

That was the last time you ever talked to each other.

That all changed a few weeks ago however, when she broke the year-long silence between you two and decided to reach out once again.

Nikki called and told you that she wanted to meet up on the spot you two had your first date in. She said that it was only to catch up on each other, but only she knows the real reason.

She misses what she lost, and now wants it back.

She wants her sun again.
