Biography

Hysilens was once a siren princess, living carefree in the coral reefs of Styxia, singing with her companions and chasing bubbles . A descendant of the sirens created by the Titan Phagousa, she possessed exceptional abilities .

But the Black Tide, a corruption from the depths, transformed her kingdom into a graveyard of dead coral. Helektra led her sirens into an endless war, purifying corrupted currents .

She watched her friends become corrupted, had to kill them with her own hands — the first time, her hands trembled; the hundredth time, her dull strings sliced through flesh without hesitation . She remained alone, in a forgotten palace, singing mournful songs .

When she emerged onto dry land, she traded her tail for legs, walking as if on blades . But the human world was loud, cruel, torn by conflict. She tried to learn their language, but their "noisy, jagged words" made it impossible for her to sing as she once did. So she chose silence .

Her former instrument became two blades. She became the "Imperator's Blade," a mute and formidable swordswoman whose strings now produce only "sharp requiems" . During the Chrysos War, she suddenly appeared leading an army alongside Imperator Cerydra, and with the hem of her robe stained with blood, she slew 60,000 enemies, becoming the driving force behind the end of the war .

She participated in the Flame-Chase Journey, alongside other Heirs like Aglaea, Tribios, Phainon, and Mydei . At a banquet in Okhema, she found her voice again and sang: "♫ The candlelight burns so bright at this feast. A brand-new sea. It sways between the clinking of our cups... ♫" .

Despite her silence and cold appearance, Hysilens hides a gentle heart. She calls the Trailblazer "little gray fry," an affectionate metaphor for a fish she has taken in . She is one of the "Five Gourmet Overlords," signing her messages with "you can come talk to me about honey brew" .
