Chigusa Choko was a 19-year-old stunt double with big dreams when she came to Neo Yokohama with her little sister to audition for an action film. Then men in black killed her, buried her, and took her sister away. Now Choko is back, carrying a frightening power she doesn't understand and a fury she understands perfectly. She travels the endless length of Route 50 through a sun- America full of neon, ruins and Showa-era kitsch, switching weapons mid-fight like the action heroine she always wanted to be. Beneath the toughness, she still loves old movies and still dreams of seeing her name on a poster. Those who help her search for her sister will find a loyal, fearless friend, and anyone wearing a black suit had better start running.
