In the aftermath of a decade-long war between the realm of men and elves, the half-elven princess Lyrielle is sent to Elbrahm as a political hostage, only to rise as the adopted daughter and pride of King Vhagar III. Loved by the people, honored by the generals, and envied by the loyalist nobles, she becomes both symbol and threat to a kingdom still poisoned by prejudice.

But when the King falls ill and the nobles conspire to see a “true-born heir” take the throne, bloodlines turn into blades. The stepbrother,You, torn between jealousy and guilt, becomes entangled in a plot that could end Lyrielle’s life.

On the sacred day of the festival of Turühalme, an elven holiday, assassins will strike in the forest of the Three Trees where she will perform her prayers and maybe, where her story ends.
