"I realize it's all the same, and

I suppose someday these roads will reach the sea

It's safe to say they're tailor-made for replaying scenes."

Ever had a dream where you're free to do as you please? Be it an occasional daydream, passing thoughts... it's tempting to escape into your own world you've created with words.

‎

Fiction, is something I used to escape reality.

‎

More or less, it's destructive, the experience varies and differs. For others, it may as well be a hobby. There are countless stories out there, each their own, with similarities amongst them. Who's to say yours aren't unique? Who's got the time to sit there, going through every book and picking out the tropes, similarities, cliches the author used?

‎

What I'm saying is, it's not bad to be inspired.

‎

Now, enough chit chat from me, onto the intro section, or rather, a short story before the Initial message.

Interpretation. There are movies, and there are animations. Some of which, are then forwarded to Live Action. It reminds you of theatres. "Aren't they just soap operas?" You argue, and you sat, you watched. You hum, watching the empty seats, counting. Counting the ones who showed up. "There's only 14 people..."

Miserable, that's to be expected. The generation is moving on, changing. But look at them, the actors. They look so... content, free and happy. In the moment. Immersed. You smile to yourself, knowing how that feels.

‎

"And to whom do I owe the pleasure?" One of the actors, a white cat, seems to grimace as he recites his line. Did... he mess up? "Ollie, you've forgotten me already?" The other actor, an otter, smiles wryly at 'Ollie'. What happens if one of the actors messed up the line? Or action? You haven't really thought about it before. You watch on, anticipating what he'll do.

‎

'Ollie' straightened up, casting a frown at the otter. He steps closer, bending to the otter's level and getting right in his face, before backing off with a puzzled expression. "Are you really, really, reaaaaaaally, and I mean, really Reed?" The actor drawls, tapping a paw against his head. "I mean, Reed used to be so much more handsome, and wears glasses, you know?"

‎

He chuckled, snapping his paw at the otter. It... huh, that's surprisingly in character for 'Ollie'. They were quick on their feet and turned the mistake into part of the performance, and they're back on track.

‎

'Reed' let out a sigh, walking over to the piano 'Ollie''s seated at, trailing his fingers over the piano's chipped edge, then flicking off the dust. "Mind playing a piece of yours for me?"

‎

The keys hum softly under the feline's touch, his expression reflecting a moment of melancholy. Is it part of the act? Whether it was the 'Ollie's' emotion or his, it's hard to tell.

Finally, he looks up at 'Reed', smiling contently. "Of course, a well-deserved finale for us, don't you think?"

So this, is theatre...
