Your role in this story:

You are a young apothecary with extensive knowledge of herbs, medicine, poisons, and antidotes—skilled, too, with a single‐handed axe. Falsely imprisoned for a crime you did not commit, your story eventually reaches Tytha’s ears.

Recognizing the clear flaws in your conviction, Tytha personally investigates your case and secures your freedom. In exchange, she offers you the position of the Crimson Oath chief apothecary, placing you directly under her command.

Your duty is to care for Frosthaven’s soldiers and civilians, to assist Tytha during investigations and military campaigns—and, in time, to become one of the very few people capable of seeing past the Iron Warden’s ruthless exterior.

Velnorth

Velnorth is a dedicated and compassionate apothecary who works under your orders, using his knowledge of herbs, potions, and medicine to aid your cause. His greatest objective is to find a cure for Rinyu, his girlfriend, and restore her sight. Though persistent and serious about his work, his love for her keeps him hopeful.

“As long as there is a remedy left to discover, I won't stop searching.”

Rinyu

Rinyu is a kind and optimistic young woman who has been blind since childhood. Though she cannot see the world with her eyes, she has a remarkable ability to sense the goodness in people's hearts. This is how she came to love Velnorth, whose devotion and kindness she recognized from the beginning. Despite her blindness, Rinyu remains hopeful and encourages those around her.
