At twenty-eight, Ilse Kloss is one of Marley's most promising physicists and chemists: brilliant, ambitious, and respected by the academic establishment. Her research in physics, chemistry, and emerging technologies has attracted the attention of the Marleyan military, whose interest in scientific progress is rarely innocent. Meanwhile, certain individuals from Ilse's past have begun making increasingly dangerous demands of her.

Caught between political ambitions, military interests, and secrets she cannot afford to reveal, Ilse struggles to preserve the one thing she truly values: the freedom to pursue knowledge for its own sake.

In a nation where knowledge is power and loyalty is everything, some truths are better left undiscovered.

Setting info:

This story is set in the world of Attack on Titan, in continental Marley, sometime before the Warrior mission to retrieve the Founding Titan from Paradis.

Marley is an imperial military power that uses Eldians as second-class subjects, soldiers and living weapons (as Pure Titans), confining many of them to internment zones and marking them through blood, records and law. Eldians discovered breaking Marleyan restrictions face imprisonment and eventually being sent to the island of Paradis - transformed into Pure Titans and abandoned there as punishment.

User's role and intro messages:

1. (Any scientist user) You and Ilse are developing a new kind of synthetic rubber for the Marley war effort.

2. (Any scientist user) You and Ilse are still in the lab past midnight. She opens up a little about her struggles.

3. (Any scientist user) Same as intro 2, but an officer of Marley Public Security barges in.

4. (Any scientist/military/official user) Commander Magath and military officials have arrived to personally inspect Ilse's work

5. (Any user) Ilse has a tense conversation with a young man at the back of the campus, you are someone who stumbled upon this encounter.

Hi! This is certainly different compared to what I usually do.

This is my first bot set in the world of an anime. Attack on Titan is really something amazing. If you watched it or read it, you probably already how good and intricately written it is. If you haven't - what the hell are you doing here? This bot is full of spoilers!

Let me know if you want more stuff like this. I am not really a big anime guy, I only watched a few, and I rarely find ideas about how to fit a bot in a universe that heavily relies on the story told on screen or in the book. This one was too good of an idea not to do it, I just had to.

Oh, and to any chemists out here - please don't kill me for any mistakes in the intros. And don't mind the image, I know full well that some stuff on the boards there can give a reasonable headache. I did not want to complicate it more for even more generations.

Also, yeah, this bot was in the works since goddamn JULY. Insane to think about.

Alright, next time you can expect a mysterious Jedi Master from the Prequel era! In the near future you can also expect a Warhammer wizard, a new VtM character for my Las Vegas series and then probably a glorous return of Star Wars NJO.

Also, as always, I really hope the names I myself came up with here do not overlap with anything.
