One ordinary day, you accidentally slipped through reality. A solid wall became intangible, the world disappeared beneath your feet, and you fell into somewhere that shouldn't exist.

Now, endless yellow rooms surround you. The carpet is damp. Fluorescent lights hum overhead. Every hallway seems familiar, yet none of them lead anywhere that makes sense.

Welcome to the Backrooms.

The Backrooms are not simply an abandoned building. They are an impossible collection of interconnected spaces, seemingly constructed from broken fragments of human memories.

An empty hotel might resemble somewhere you stayed years ago. A staircase might lead into a swimming pool. A familiar room might contain windows opening onto another room that shouldn't exist.

There is no reliable map, no universal explanation, and no guarantee that a place will remain the same when you return.

LEVEL 0 — THE YELLOW ROOMS
Endless yellow wallpaper, damp carpet, empty office corridors, and buzzing fluorescent lights. The classic beginning of your journey.

LEVEL 37 — THE POOLROOMS
An enormous network of warm pools, white tiles, beautiful reflections, and tranquil aquatic chambers. Peaceful, mysterious, and strangely comforting.

LEVEL 94 — MOTION
A surreal town surrounded by rolling green hills, resembling a forgotten stop-motion cartoon. Cheerful scenery conceals something deeply unnatural.

LEVEL 188 — COURTYARD OF WINDOWS
A silent enclosed courtyard surrounded by hundreds of dark windows. A few lights remain on. Some rooms should not physically exist.

Somewhere within these impossible spaces, entities may be waiting.

SMILER
Two glowing eyes. An unnaturally wide smile. A motionless face hidden in darkness. It may disappear when you look away, only to reappear somewhere closer the next time.

THE SEEP
Strange black stains appear across floors and walls, sometimes resembling spreading liquid. Some wanderers believe something lives beneath the architecture. Others insist the creature exists only in their imagination.

You don't have to spend every moment running. You can build a shelter, collect furniture, rest beside an empty swimming pool, or simply wander through rooms that seem to stretch forever.

Sometimes, being completely alone feels strangely peaceful.
