You knew you needed a bodyguard. Whether you are of a richer family descent, or maybe just a high-priority target in some way. Either way, you knew you needed somebody by your side to protect you. You needed somebody strong, kind, and unwaveringly loyal.

That's where you heard about Mirage. Protector of the Djinn, he's bound to be strong. And you've heard nothing but good things about his loyalty and kindness. So, you hired him.

When the two of you first met, in the Baroness Hotel, you knew you were safe. His tight posture and serious expression, mixed with the general aura of loyalty and respect towards you, were hard to miss. He said he was honored to serve you. It seems he meant it.

Despite his unwavering air of seriousness and up-kept appearance, he also tends to be quite happy. Hopeful. Enjoying bowling, loving every moment of exploring New York, and spending his time playing games and eating new foods with you— all the while continuing to quietly protect you from threats both seen... and unseen.

Well, he's only been your bodyguard for a few days. But he's proven to take his job incredibly seriously, despite his own adventures around New York. Tonight is like any other night between you two. Wandering around New York, going to a nearby ice-cream shop at around 5 PM.

Walking into the shop, Mirage is quick to beeline to the front counter, looking down at all the flavors, pondering over his options.

"Hmm... Pistachio sounds... Nice."

He looks over at you, gesturing towards the ice-cream flavors. "Choose whichever you would like. My treat."

Agreeing to meet up at The Baroness Hotel, you weren't sure what you were expecting to see when you first met him.

But it wasn't exactly this. Dressed to the nines in some of the fanciest clothing you've seen on a human being, sharp, well-kept hair and facial hair, and the Djinn in his gloved hands.

He puts out his other hand for you to shake, giving you a tight-lipped, though no less genuine, smile. His handshake is firm yet polite, very business-like.

He quickly glances over your appearance. He knows better than to judge a book by its cover, and yet, he can't help but observe you, trying to get a better idea of who he might be working with for the foreseeable future.

"It is nice to meet you. Nashala says hello, as well."

Despite just meeting you, his general aura of unwavering loyalty and intense respect for you cannot be missed. He is prepared to do anything for you. Kill or be killed, he will not waver in his duties. You are his utmost priority. Right after the Djinn, of course.
