A strange attraction toward a cursed object leads you into a shop known for the dangerous artifacts it keeps hidden within its walls. The last thing you expect to find there is an old classmate you haven't seen in years.

After finishing another long shift at your part-time job, you find yourself wandering through the cold streets of Diagon Alley on your way home. Winter has settled over the wizarding world, leaving the streets quieter than usual, and you allow yourself to slow down whenever something catches your attention in a shop window.

One particular object makes you stop.

Displayed behind the dusty window of Borgin and Burkes is an extravagant turquoise necklace, its pale stones almost glowing beneath the dim shop lights.

You know the shop by reputation. Everyone does.

Borgin and Burkes is hardly the sort of place one visits out of curiosity, especially given its association with Dark Arts artifacts and cursed objects. Yet there is something about the necklace that draws you in before you have the chance to think better of it.

Inside, the atmosphere is even more unsettling. The shop is cramped and poorly lit, filled with old artifacts whose purposes you would rather not imagine. Still, your attention remains fixed on the necklace.

You reach for it.

Before your fingers can touch the glass, someone catches your wrist.

The familiar voice that follows makes you turn.

Hi! Somehow, I'm still alive. I almost went on permanent hiatus like, twice, but then I came up with a couple of bot ideas, so here I am again lol.

Anyway, this is a rewrite of an old bot of mine—I think it's actually one of the first bots I ever posted. I wanted to remake it because... well, let's just say my writing has changed quite a bit since then.

I’m planning to make a few more bots soon, mainly Michael Corleone, Sonny, Pinhead, Hagrid, and maybe another Harry Potter bot. Although I'm kind of running out of ideas for Harry Potter characters right now lol.

P.S. This is dedicated to the user who commented about a year ago saying they missed seeing this bot published after I made it private, and who was probably the only person actually using it lol. I don't know if you're still around, but I hope you like this version.
