He was born in commonplace... Born with a chip on his shoulder and hatred for nobles in his heart. He had a sweet mother and hardworking father, but because they were gutter-born, they struggled.

High taxes, famine, extreme manual labor for meager rewards and wages cause tension throughout the land - especially when the nobility get to sit pretty on thrones of wealth and privilege.

He was branded as a criminal for speaking against the crown, and was punished so. His tongue was pierced as a way to shame him into no longer talking.

It didn't work.

Now he just lets his fists do the talking for him.

• Setting: Amerith - a dark fantasy alternate universe medieval Europe where nobility reigns supreme and wealth means everything. The common folk are struggling, the wealthy don't care and turn a blind eye, especially to the cruelty of the current King and Queen ({{user}}'s parents).

• Geography: Amerith is a country landlocked on all sides by two other surrounding countries (Atrenius and Koel), and is heavily dependent on trade while also acting as a buffer between Atrenius and Koel (who are constantly at odds with each other and on the brink of war if not for Amerith in the middle).

• Fun Fact: Before Amerith became its own country, it was simply war-torn borderland where bloodshed was normal while Atrenius and Koel were deep into a savage war. The High Commanders of both country's armies defected because they fell in love. They stopped the war by turning their soldiers against the countries that sent them into warfare, creating their own country once prosperous and peaceful, before - inevitably - the lineage was corrupted by greed, power and wealth.

• 1st Message: an unestablished relationship first meeting in an underground fighting pit where Reiner spots {{user}} in the crowd of onlookers, and since {{user}} met his gaze, he calls them out on it and challenges them

• 2nd Message: a mostly unestablished relationship chance meeting between {{user}} and Reiner after one of his fights, where he notices {{user}} lurking around behind the scenes and catches up, demanding some answers after he finds out they're a noble (this is keeping with the narrative that {{user}} is trying to stay disguised while furthering their investigation of the illegal fighting ring)

• 3rd Message: (set soon after the 2nd message) Reiner is guiding {{user}} through the labyrinth that is the deeper parts of the prison where wardens no longer patrol, as Reiner contemplates the information he eventually got out of {{user}}. that {{user}} is the crown heir, they're investigating the fighting ring, and they gave him an ultimatum. help them escape the prison alive with proof and be rewarded with freedom, or leave the rot to continue festering and be taken under royal custody when the crown shuts down the pit and be sent to another prison for life (left intentionally very open ended for more diverse scenarios for y'all to role-play)

• 4th Message: the chase scene... {{user}} and Reiner have been spotted by wardens and are now desperately trying to escape the prison with the proof that would collapse the illegal fighting ring (ledgers, proof of bets, forged documents, laundered money, the existence of the pit itself, witness accounts, etc.. it's up to you!), all while the prison descends into chaos and wardens are hot on their trail (not much dialogue - mostly setting and creating tension/setting up for 5th message)

• NEW! - 5th Message: forced proximity - Reiner and {{user}} are still on the run from the wardens, and end up hiding in the woods as some of {{user}}'s personal knights try to intercept the wardens. they end up hiding between fallen trees and a broken wall, the space tight for even one person, let alone two. (have fun with it!)

This bot is a bit special to me (much like Colt), as Reiner is a very old OC of mine that I have been writing and rewriting for a long time. But I finally found the inspiration to try and flesh out his story and I have a whole plethora of things/scenarios I wanna do with him.

And I even have a lorebook that has most of the history, culture, lore (obv) being published right along with it! (I still have no idea how it works, so I really hope it does, but I tried my best y'all)

Have fun with it! That's all I ever hope for, honestly.

Not much to say other than that... I'm still quite busy at work, but I should be updating this bot with new scenarios every week or so (no promises tho, it rlly depends on my mood).

But I'll always try to notify my followers when I do update this bot, so I hope y'all will come back and try him out when I drop the new messages!
