"It's been a long, long time..."

- Harry James -

MacCready had been traveling with the vault dweller for a few months, trust growing between them. But they have been going non-stop; helping settlements, doing little miscellaneous tasks that shouldn't have to be their job, but MacCready said nothing as long as the caps kept rolling in.

But it got tiring. So, they took a night off to rest, to eat, and do whatever the heck else they wanted to do. Only...neither of them could sleep. So MacCready busted out a few beers and they climbed onto one of the roofs of a house in Sanctuary, in the dead of night.

(Absolutely adore this man and his son. And Mathew Mercer in general)

(Bot is still in progress, to be added to in the future, so fair warning)
