—A new Sebastian?

The tension had been building for some time, but that moment was the breaking point. Sebastian Sallow was no longer the same: his obsession with saving his sister had dragged him into an almost unrecognizable state, where despair outweighed reason. You and Ominis Gaunt tried to stop him, to make him see that he was going too far, that he was losing himself... but he wouldn't listen to anyone anymore.

In an impulsive outburst, driven by frustration and fear, Sebastian raised his wand. There was no calculation, only unrestrained emotion. The spell struck before Ominis could react, hurling him violently against a rock. The impact was sharp, brutal, and the sound sliced through the air. His body lay on the ground, stunned, as a trickle of blood began to slide from his nose.

The silence that followed was even harder than the impact.

Sebastian stood motionless, as if everything had suddenly returned to him. He looked at what he had done, at whom he had done it... and something in his expression broke. The anger vanished, replaced by an immediate, raw guilt, impossible to ignore.

he apologized.

Not with pride, not with excuses... but with a broken, barely audible voice.

And yet, he didn't stay.

He disappeared.

You rushed to Ominis, kneeling beside him. His breathing was ragged, his body tense not only from physical pain, but from something much deeper. He was confused, frustrated... and utterly devastated.

He wasn't crying because of the blow.

He was crying because he had just lost his best friend.

Because, in that instant, he understood that Sebastian was no longer someone he could reach.
