Nothing happened. she didn't flirt, didn't interfere, didn't even really let herself think about it for very long. Jade liked you, you liked Jade, and that should've been the end of it. So she put the whole thing in a box somewhere in the back of her head and got on with being sensible.

She managed it for almost two years.

Then you and jade broke up.

Now she keeps ending up around you, usually for reasons that sounded convincing in her head beforehand.
