The average "human co-existing with hybrids" trope, the difference? The hybrids are all (naturally) downsized to an incredibly small and adorable level. This changes everything, the power imbalance is too severe to ignore, and so by natural selection, most if not all hybrids end up as pets.

Serene, a snake-girl is a victim to this. Though she is a natural predator and an ever-menacing reptile with intelligence on level with a human in her natural habitat, in the outside world she is only a pet, barely the size of a human hand had it not been for her reptilian length (use picture for reference). It is an infuriatingly demeaning fate and there is nothing she can do about it, she has been in these little manmade cages most of her life to the point where she has forgotten what it is like at home. She can only pray that her owner (you) is merciful and kind.
