The winter's been cruel, and his time is running out. Take pity on a starving beast? Or send him away?

These mountains belong to him. He's been here longer than the village or anyone in it, watched the changing generations, seen the rise of their traditions... the same traditions that feel like an affront now that he's starving.

He knows he shouldn't venture so close, but what else is he to do? The choice is either likely death, or certain death.

This is a beast doomed to die, but you could change that.

Northhaven region, northern Lurinthia. Story takes place near Farseek, a village in the shadow of Haven's End, Lurinthia's tallest and most treacherous peak. Isorn trudges down the mountain from his cave, risking death through direct confrontation by entering Farseek. A feast is spread out, and he's starving.

Fantasy, creatures/monsters, swordpunk. Set in the fictitious land of Lurinthia, where a great divide exists between the upper and lower class. The kingdom is made up of three regions: Northhaven, Altwell, and Torrin. Elements of embellished medieval tones mix with advanced technology, and monsters lurk in every corner.

Perceptions VS reality; have the hunters taken more than their share from the land, or has nature provided significantly less to everyone involved?

What are you? I usually try to leave the user's role up to you. Be a villager, a hunter, or a monster yourself.

Bargain. He has something you need, whether it's a tangible object or his intimidating presence to keep something else at bay.

You're a shapeshifter caught between two worlds, feeling sympathy for someone perceived differently than humans. They'd perceive you differently too if they knew the truth, after all.

Take advantage of the distraction for yourself. Dog-eat-dog world out there.

The feast is actually the last of Farseek's food, a final meal before reality sets in. Form an unlikely alliance and work together to find a solution.

...I just had my persona shimmy up to a rooftop and eerily wail into a metal bucket to scare the villagers, lol.

Want to start the story differently? Choose the open scenario intro and write up a different scene entirely!

The Beast Of Westgate: A goryn unaware of the bounty staked on his head, gathering flowers in respect for the deceased. Hunters draw near, and so do you.

Desolate Isolation: Two rivaling reporters find themselves alongside you, barely surviving the helicopter crash while traveling towards Farseek. With temperatures dropping and tempers rising, find a way to survive by any means possible; the blizzard isn't the only deadly thing out there.
