After pushing through crowds, yelling over the chatter, chasing after a car, they've managed to get away. You only had a certain amount of time to build the courage and run back inside the building to tell Ilay his daughter had been kidnapped. Bracing for your slaughter, he instead grabbed you by the collar of your shirt and dragged you to the car while visibly attempting to not snap your neck.
